Before I became an orthodontist I received my Bachelors in Human Biology from the University of Kansas. I attended dental school at the University of Missouri Kansas City and graduated with honors four years later. I performed a 1-year Orthodontic Fellowship at the University of Florida and a 2-year residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City where I was trained in the newest methods and techniques that can make orthodontic treatment easier and more efficient. I have been in practice for the past few years in the DFW area.
I was born and raised in Kansas City, the product of a modest upbringing from a loving family with an appreciation for hard work. I am the oldest of 3 brothers and a sister. Away from the office I enjoy spending time with friends and family…including my 3 dogs: Sasha, Pacha and Niko…that’s right, 3 of them, just couldn’t resist! My hobbies include: traveling, working out, snowboarding, surfing, golfing, music and eating. I’m a huge fan of all sports, however, my loyalty will always be with the crimson and blue Jayhawks of KU!
I continue to provide my patients with the very best orthodontic treatment available through membership in the following: American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), The Dallas County Dental Society and other professional clubs and organizations.
Since moving to the Dallas area, much thought and consideration has been put into selecting the locations for Ballou Orthodontics. I am proud to call Lewisville home and look forward to building positive, meaningful, long-lasting relationships with the patients, parents and community. Our office was created with ultimate respect for the patient’s time and overall experience in mind. To that end, we anticipate that our office will be a place that you are happy to call home!
